BloomHub Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 19, 2026

1. Overview

BloomHub is designed for therapists, educators, schools, caregivers, and related professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how BloomHub collects, uses, protects, and handles information provided through the platform. BloomHub is built around data minimization, professional judgment, and child privacy protection.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as name, email address, professional role, organization details, profile preferences, billing status, support requests, uploaded resources, created materials, and usage information needed to operate the platform. We may also collect basic technical information such as browser type, device information, and activity logs for security, troubleshooting, and product improvement.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide BloomHub features, save user-created resources, manage accounts and subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve reliability, maintain security, and communicate important product or account updates. BloomHub does not sell personal information or child-related data.

4. Children’s Privacy and No-PII Expectation

BloomHub is a professional tool intended for adults, not for direct account creation or independent use by children under 13. Users should not enter unnecessary personally identifiable information about children, including full names, dates of birth, student ID numbers, addresses, medical record numbers, or other direct identifiers. Users should use anonymized labels such as Student A, Client 1, or initials whenever possible.

5. Student Information and Sensitive Data

Users are responsible for ensuring that any student, client, school, therapy, or health-related information entered into BloomHub complies with applicable laws, school policies, district rules, professional obligations, and consent requirements. BloomHub is not an electronic medical record, student information system, or substitute for a school or healthcare compliance program.

6. AI Features and User Responsibility

BloomHub may use artificial intelligence to help generate resources, activities, recommendations, visuals, reports, or drafts. Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before use and should avoid entering child PII into AI prompts or free-text fields. AI-generated outputs may contain errors and should not replace professional judgment, evaluation, treatment planning, or educational decision-making.

7. Video Camera Privacy Statement

Because camera-enabled features are sensitive, BloomHub is designed so the video stream remains local only when using these tools. No video data from a child’s camera is sent to any server; it is processed entirely on the user’s browser device. BloomHub does not store, transmit, or access camera video streams, facial data, or biometric information from these local camera features.

8. Uploaded Content and User-Created Materials

Users retain ownership of content they upload or create in BloomHub. Users are responsible for ensuring uploaded files, images, notes, and resources do not contain unnecessary child PII or sensitive data. BloomHub stores and processes user content only as needed to provide the platform and related support services.

9. Data Protection Safeguards

BloomHub uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. We support privacy-by-design practices such as minimizing unnecessary data collection, encouraging anonymized student labels, avoiding camera-stream storage, and limiting use of sensitive data to the purpose of providing the service.

10. Data Export and Deletion

Users may request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of their account information and associated user-created content, subject to legal, billing, security, and operational requirements. Account deletion or purge requests may be directed to BloomHub Support.

11. Third-Party Services

BloomHub may use trusted third-party services for hosting, authentication, billing, email delivery, file storage, analytics, and integrations. These services are used only as needed to operate BloomHub. Payment information is processed by secure payment providers and BloomHub does not store full credit card numbers.

12. Data Retention

BloomHub retains information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain records, comply with legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support user-requested resources. Users may request deletion when they no longer need stored content.

13. Changes to This Policy

BloomHub may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of BloomHub after updates means the user accepts the revised policy. Material updates may be communicated through the platform or by email when appropriate.

14. Contact Information

Questions, data requests, account deletion requests, or privacy concerns may be directed to BloomHub Support.
